(Schengen) visa:
In general your visa application will be processed within 14 days. In some cases the Embassy has to forward the visa application to the competent authorities in The Netherlands or to the Schengen member states for a final decision. In this case it can take between 10 days up to months before the visa can be issued.

Schengen visa Sweden:
Travellers to Sweden can apply for a Schengen visa at the Netherlands Embassy in most cases. If a visa cannot be processed at the Netherlands Embassy, applicants should contact one of the Swedish embassies in the region directly.
Passports for Dutch citizens:
Since 1 October 2001 Dutch passports are only issued at one central point in The Netherlands. Applications can be submitted at one of the Netherlands embassies worldwide. It will take approx. two weeks before the passport can be collected.
Application forms can be collected at the counter from the visa officer.
Legalisation:
Only original Kuwaiti documents can be legalised by this Embassy, after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait has legalised the documents. Legalisation of original Dutch documents can only be done in The Netherlands.
Declarations:
On request of Dutch citizens the Netherlands Embassy can submit declarations for certain purposes.
Registration:
Dutch citizens can register at the Netherlands Embassy on a voluntarily basis. Registration is not compulsory. Registration forms can be collected at the embassy.
