APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR

TOURIST VISA

1.                    Duly filled application form with one recent passport size photograph.

2.                    Passport valid at least three months after expiry date of the visa.

3.                    Hotel and flight booking (reservation).

4.                    The visa fee equivalent of EUR 60.00 in KWD.

From non-Kuwaiti nationals is also required:

5.                    Letter from the employer/sponsor stating how long you have been working for the company, what is your designation (position) and how much is your monthly salary.

6.                    Valid Kuwaiti residence permit endorsed in passport.

7.                    The original bank statements of the last 6 months.

BUSINESS VISA

1.                    Duly filled application form with one recent passport size photograph.

2.                    Passport valid at least three months after expiry date of the visa with valid Kuwaiti residence permit.

3.                    Invitation letter from the Netherlands has to be faxed directly to the Embassy (fax no. +965 2534 0920).

4.                    Letter from the employer/sponsor stating how long you have been working with the company, what is your designation, how much is your monthly salary, what is the purpose of your visit to the Netherlands and the guarantee of financial means and your return to Kuwait.

5.                    Hotel and flight booking (reservation).

6.                    The visa fee equivalent of EUR 60.00 in KWD.

FRIEND / FAMILY VISIT

1.                    Duly filled in application form with one recent passport size photograph.

2.                    Passport valid at least three months after expiry date of the visa with valid Kuwaiti residence permit.

3.                    Original invitation letter from the relative or friend in the Netherlands legalised by the municipality of the city of his/her residency.

4.                    Letter from the employer/sponsor stating how long you have been working for the company, what is your designation and how much is your monthly salary.

5.                    Flight booking (reservation).

6.                    The visa fee equivalent of EUR 60.00 in KWD.

 AIRPORT TRANSIT VISA

1.                    Duly filled application form with 1 recent passport size photograph.

2.                    Passport valid at least 3 months after expiry date of the airport transit visa

3.                    Valid entry visa to the country of your final destination.

4.                    Confirmed airline ticket

5.                    The visa handling fee equivalent of EUR 60.00 in KD.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Concerning minor children:

a)       Written approval of their parents/legal guardians.

b)       Their passport or ID card.

c)       Letter from the school/college that absence is permitted.

• IF YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED WE WILL ASK YOU TO BRING YOUR CONFIRMED RETURN AIRLINE TICKET AND THE TRAVEL INSURANCE (MINIMUM COVERAGE EUR 30,000) VALID FOR THE SCHENGEN-AREA FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY.
• ALL APPLICANTS HAVE TO APPLY IN PERSON.
• EVERY QUESTION ON THE APPLICATION FORM HAS TO BE ANSWERED. INCOMPLETE AND UNSIGNED FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• ALL THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE ORIGINALS, NOT OLDER THAN 3 MONTHS. ONLY ENGLISH OR DUTCH TRANSLATION CAN BE ACCEPTED.
• DEPENDING ON THE CIRCUMSTANCE OF YOUR APPLICATION YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE FURTHER DOCUMENTATION.
• IT IS ESSENTIAL TO APPLY FOR A VISA WELL IN ADVANCE OF YOUR TRIP (BUT NOT MORE THAN 3 MONTHS), AS IT MAY TAKE SOME TIME TO PROCESS THE APPLICATION.
